The Moebius Syndrome Foundation would like to congratulate Austin Halls on fulfilling his term as a Board Director of the Moebius Syndrome Foundation. December 31, 2024 was his last day of service in this capacity, and we thank him for the last three years of dedicated service to our community.

We are pleased to announce four new Moebius Syndrome Foundation Board members:
Tara Lewis, Ph.D.
Bobby Medow
Michael Mendenhall, Esq.
Lucia Santistevan, M.D.

We congratulate these dedicated individuals on the opportunities to serve the Moebius community in these new capacities and thank them in advance for their service. They are eager to continue the work that has been laid in place and grow the MSF’s programming, research and support services. We would also like to thank the many individuals who applied for a board position last fall. There are many very qualified and wonderful people who have a desire to serve, and we thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to working with our new board and growing group of volunteers to serve our community!

It has been an honor to collaborate with such a talented and dedicated group of individuals, all working together to support and uplift others. As someone directly impacted by Moebius, being part of the Board has allowed me to advocate for our community in new ways that have felt both empowering and purposeful. The Foundation has allowed me to grow in ways I never could imagine and I will always carry the lessons learned. Plus, I will be right here along the way to continue opening doors for the Moebius community and showcasing that disabled people deserve to be seen, heard, and successful!” Dec. 31. 2024
