Join us for a special research webinar: Characterizing Moebius Syndrome – Insights from the Moebius Syndrome Research Consortium
We are excited to invite the Moebius community to a special webinar featuring the researchers behind the largest genetics study on Moebius syndrome to date.
Over the past decade, the Moebius Syndrome Research Consortium has partnered with individuals and families living with Moebius syndrome to better understand its clinical features and to determine whether there are any genetic origins. This groundbreaking study, recently published in Genetics in Medicine Open, included 149 individuals with Moebius syndrome, making it the most comprehensive research of its kind.
During this webinar, leading researchers Dr. Ethylin W. Jabs from the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Elizabeth Engle from Boston Children’s Hospital, Dr. Irini Manoli from the National Institutes of Health, and Dr. Bryn Webb from the University of Wisconsin–Madison will present key findings from the study.
This research was made possible by the participation of many researchers, individuals, families, and the generous supporters of the Moebius Syndrome Foundation. We are proud to help bring these important findings directly to our community.
A Q&A chat feature will be available during the live webinar. We encourage everyone interested to please register by visiting: bit.ly/MoebiusResearch
A recording will be available on our website following the live session.
