Moebius Syndrome Awareness Day is on January 24, 2025! This year, we embrace the theme “Celebrating 30 Years of Community” to highlight the 30-year journey of the Moebius Syndrome Foundation.
Moebius syndrome is a rare neurological condition affecting around 2-20 births per million births. It causes facial paralysis or weakness and can cause speech, feeding and respiratory difficulties, limb differences, and other symptoms. It is a congenital, non-progressive disorder that affects individuals from all walks of life. Our theme, “Celebrating 30 Years of Community,” highlights the MSF’s three decades of advocacy, education, community support, connections, and research initiatives benefiting those living with this rare condition.
