Sponsorships & Donations

Support the 12th Moebius Syndrome Foundation Conference!

The Moebius Syndrome Foundation Conference is an amazing event that is held every two years that provides networking and social activities for the Moebius community. We are committed to offering the best conferences we can and ask for your help in supporting them.

In order to keep attendee registration costs down, the Moebius Syndrome Foundation works diligently on obtaining sponsorships and funding. For the last conference, held in July 2014, the Foundation ended up paying an additional $62,000 out of pocket to cover all costs. With 375 people attending, that means the Foundation spent $165 per attendee. We encourage you to make a donation for our next conference.

Conference sponsorships and donations received or pledged during both 2015 and 2016 will be combined to determine your sponsorship or donation level.  That way you can contribute in either or both years to the upcoming conference.  Sponsors will receive acknowledgement at the conference and a full page color ad in the Conference Journal.  We will be able to identify early sponsors in our conference materials including our brochure and website.

Support the 2016 Moebius Syndrome Foundation Conference!

Our sponsorship levels are:

  • Diamond Sponsor: $10,000 and above
  • Gold Sponsor: $5,000 – $9,999
  • Silver Sponsor: $1,000 – $4,999
  • Sponsor: $500 – $999
  • Friend: any amount (will not receive a full page ad in the Conference Journal but you will be listed.)

Donations for the 2016 conference will be accepted in any amount, and we are very appreciative of any donation we receive.  When you donate in 2015, please let us know if you are also pledging to donate in 2016.

Journal Ads will also be sold for our Conference Journal.  Those may be paid in either 2015 or 2016, and like donations, the 2015 and 2016 purchases of an ad will be combined to arrive at your total donation amount.  They also will be used to determine the size of your journal ad. They are:

  • Full Page $400
  • Half Page $200
  • Quarter Page $100
  • Business Card $50
  • Listing of Friends $25

Donations are also encouraged towards the Conference Scholarship Fund.  Conference scholarships will be awarded to first time conference attendees with financial need, either an adult with Moebius syndrome or a parent of a child with Moebius syndrome.  Donations received in 2015 and 2016 for Conference Scholarships will be combined to arrive at the total amount donated.

The forms to complete for donations or sponsorships can be downloaded here. Please use the letter that follows in your fundraising for the conference, or write your own.  Alternatively, you may make your donation through our website.  Please be sure to let us know that it is designated for the 12th Moebius Syndrome Foundation Conference in 2016.

If you have any questions, please contact conference@moebiussyndrome.org or call (844) MOEBIUS (663-2487) ext. 1.

Thank you very much for your support!
